Sadly, all too often we hear about businesses being wound up by receivers or administrators, and an important role it is that they perform, but our consulting arm is focused on repair and salvage of businesses struggling through managed turnarounds and workouts - we collaborate with business owners, finance providers, accountants and insolvency practitioners - to save businesses, not sink them. We're sector agnostic but we are wholly focused on producing change and outcomes for all stakeholders, whomever they might be. In an ideal world, we get involved early and work with owners to repair, salvage and rebuild (and reclaim their happiness too) businesses.

An application based process for both tech and non-technology start-ups, where the clear focus is on sector specific innovation. Our commercial and hands-on start-up experience, combined with our coaching, guidance and mentoring talents, networks and resources, will help cohort participants refine and develop solutions and equip the founders for the road ahead (incubator) or to iterate, launch, fund and scale (accelerator). Either way, as with everything we do, it's all about helping participants to refine, improve, develop themselves and succeed, and to find their own happiness too (naturally). "Scaling" is a word often used, but it's not necessarily a simple thing to do or achieve. The business landscape is littered with stories of scaling gone wrong and, facts are, you'll read far more stories of the failures than of all the positive tales of quiet and persistent achievement. We're all about the latter, about doing all things necessary to realise sustainable growth in people, systems, sales, revenue and profitability. Not every business owner has the skills to scale their business (that's not a criticism or a commentary, it's just a fact of life) but the assessment of doing so, and how to go about it, and the practical implementation of it, is a role where an Enjyne for growth is crucial.

We don't call it Outsourcing, we call it Collaborating, and our Managed Services capability is BPO on steroids, but it's strictly for SMEs and it's super economical too. Our analysis and evaluation of any business we consider investing in (or acquiring) is framed around a thesis of "can we help to transform this?" We don't actively canvas for anything in particular but are always keen to explore opportunities to grow our portfolio with strategic investments and acquisitions in Australia and NZ. We consider investing in businesses with a sound underlying market position and growth opportunities, and we also entertain the outright purchase of businesses. We don't have any definitive investment $ limit, as we can include partner investors should the circumstances, our interest and appetite, warrant doing so. We welcome expressions of interest from Founders, Business Owners, Advisors, Financiers, Investors and Managers, confidentially of course.

Franchising (done right) is a legitimate gateway to sustained growth, profitability and success is franchising but, all too often, the franchise model undermines the quality of relationship and interdependence which are integral to it. Franchising can quite literally be an engine for growth and can produce a legacy of long term outcomes for all stakeholders. But that's only ever going to happen with all the necessary tools, resources and systems in place, and that's something our Enjyne has in spades. Regardless of the size of your SMB, there are a myriad businesses out there with foundations suitable for franchising, or scaling generally, but (for whatever reason) can't. Identifying, analysing them, and implementing all that is required to undertake that transformation, and working with owners to execute it all, are like the pistons in our finely tuned Enjyne.

Preparing a business for sale isn't just about tidying up the gardens (metaphorically speaking), it's invariably about doing an entire renovation, and not cutting any corners either. We believe the same "10x" mantra and mindset that is often applied to digital businesses should apply to every business, analogue too. So we approach things differently to ensure we can not only achieve value accretion and optimise sale realisations but help our clients to achieve sums worth retiring on.
